Burn Notice
Pyromancer — Burst AoE / Siege
You don't negotiate. You don't flank. You walk up to a problem and set it on fire until it stops being a problem. The Pyromancer is the closest thing Tarnished Crown has to a tactical nuke — sulfur goes in, screaming comes out.
The Siege Breaker
Pyromancers pump out the highest burst AoE damage in the game. You're the area denier, the reason people don't stack up behind a single doorway. The trade-off is real: you're squishy, and every spell runs on sulfur — both ore and processed — pulled straight from your inventory. No cap, no regen. You mine it, you smelt it, you spend it turning people into charcoal.
Your weapon rack is deliberately limited — hunting bow, flamethrower, torch, bone club, and basic meds. The message is clear: your spells are your weapons. The Pyromancer's real endgame is logistics. The richest Pyro is the scariest Pyro.
The Kit That Ends Raids
Meteor Strike
200 sulfur. 3-second delay. Then 5 fire rockets rain from the sky onto your target. If you're raiding a base and you hear a Pyromancer start casting, run. The 180-second cooldown means you pick your moment carefully — but when that moment arrives, the blast zone is uninhabitable for about 10 seconds of pure chaos.
Flame Barrier
100 sulfur buys you 8 seconds of complete projectile immunity. Arrows, bolts, thrown spears — they all bounce off. The real play is popping this while casting Meteor Strike. Nobody can interrupt you with projectiles, and the enemy's panic is palpable. On a 60-second cooldown, it's ready for every major engagement.
Cauterize
Your one self-sustain tool. 30 sulfur clears all bleed and poison effects, then heals 3 HP per second for 10 seconds. The difference between a dead Pyro and a scary Pyro is knowing when to Cauterize instead of casting one more Firebolt. Also on a 60-second cooldown — keep it ready.
Even Your Corpse Is Dangerous
Two passives define the Pyromancer beyond the spellbook. Death Explosion detonates a fireball when you die — the enhanced version throws three in an 8-meter radius. Even your corpse is a threat. Meanwhile, Searing Arrows applies a heat DoT to every arrow you fire, turning the humble hunting bow into a weapon of slow, burning attrition. Pair it with the Firebow spell for maximum suffering.
Playing It Smart
Sulfur management is everything. Farm nodes early, smelt stacks of ore, and never stop hoarding — a Pyro without sulfur is just a guy with a bone club and regrets. The core combo is Flame Barrier into Meteor Strike: pop immunity, then cast your ultimate while nobody can stop you with projectiles. It's the most devastating two-button sequence in the game.
Don't sleep on Firebolt between the big cooldowns. At a 1.5-second cooldown and only 50 sulfur per cast, it's your bread-and-butter damage. Don't save it for "the right moment" — just keep shooting. The Pyromancy tree spans 17 nodes across 5 tiers, scaling from that spammable Firebolt at the base all the way up to Meteor Strike at the capstone.
