Call of the Wild

Beastmaster — Pet DPS / Flanker

Why fight alone when you can bring a bear? The Beastmaster tames wild animals, commands them in combat, buffs them into dire versions of themselves, and summons wolf packs when things get serious. Your enemies have to fight you and whatever terrifying creature is charging them from the side.

Your Pet, Your Partner

The Beastmaster is built around one core mechanic: Tame. Look at any wild animal within 10 meters, hold for 5 seconds, spend some meat from your inventory, and it becomes your permanent companion. One pet at a time, and it persists until it dies. Tame a wolf for the Howl speed buff, a bear for raw tankiness, or a boar for… moral support.

Your personal weapons are primitive — bone club, spears, bone knife — all enhanced by the Venom Weapons passive that loads every hit with poison, bleed, and slow. But honestly, your pet does most of the heavy lifting. In group fights it's a second player on your team. Solo, it's your tank, your DPS, and your best friend.

When One Beast Isn't Enough

Empower Pet

Transforms your pet into its dire version for 30 seconds — 2× HP, 1.5× damage, 1.5× size. Your wolf becomes a Dire Wolf. Your bear becomes a nightmare. The visual alone makes people reconsider their life choices. 120-second cooldown, so you save it for the fights that matter.

Pack Call

Summons 2 wolves that fight alongside you for 30 seconds. Combined with your tamed pet, that's three animals attacking your target at once. Pop both Empower Pet and Pack Call in the same fight and you've got a dire alpha leading a wolf squad — it's a gank party from nature itself. 90-second cooldown.

Primal Fury

When the pet dies and it's just you versus the world, Primal Fury turns you into the animal. 30 seconds of +50% melee damage, 25% damage reduction, and a speed boost. Surprisingly lethal on a class people underestimate in melee. 120-second cooldown.

Snake Trap

The sleeper pick. 10-second cooldown, max 3 active at once, each snake lives 60 seconds. Place them around your base, in doorways, along retreat paths. They're silent, they're venomous, and absolutely nobody expects them.

The Wild in Your Veins

Feral Bite triggers whenever you melee a target below 75% HP — they start bleeding for 4 damage per second over 8 seconds, with a 15-second internal cooldown. It's your finisher instinct: weakened targets just bleed out while you chase them down. Pair it with Venom Weapons, which loads every spear and bone club hit with poison, bleed, and slow, and even your "bad" weapons become dangerous when they're dripping with debuffs.

Running the Pack

If you want the Howl team buff (+10% speed for allies within 20 meters for 15 seconds), you need a wolf — it only activates with a wolf pet. Bears are tankier, but wolves unlock team utility. Choose based on whether you're running solo or with a group. The zoo-mode combo is Empower Pet plus Pack Call: your tamed pet goes dire while two summoned wolves flank. Position yourself behind the chaos and clean up with Feral Bite finishers.
